The calculators and articles on Pet Calculus are for general information and education. They give estimates based on published averages and can’t take your individual pet into account. They are not a diagnosis, a treatment plan or a substitute for advice from a licensed veterinarian who has examined your animal.

We work hard to keep our formulas and sources current, and we cite them on every page. Even so, we can’t promise that every result is accurate or complete, and veterinary guidance changes over time. Use the results at your own judgment.
